Bring your middle- and upper-grade classes (6-12) to experience our newest educational program, Perspective, Choice and Change. During this approx. 2 hour program students will strengthen their historical thinking skills by exploring the complex and varied experiences and perspectives of Fort Snelling's past.

Students exercise their collaborative and critical thinking skills by examining digitized primary sources, analyzing historical objects, and participating in interactive simulations based on historic events. Teachers have the option to customize a portion of the experience by selecting from a list of topics for their students to explore while in the brand-new computer classroom.

Different versions of the program are available at different times. Click on the links below for more information about the program and to schedule your class.

The Minnesota Historical Society gratefully acknowledges David and Barbara Koch for their generous support of this educational program.
